It was hot, honey. In fact, I almost (a) felt guilty for being there and (b) wanted to charge spectators admission. Ashley and Walter have been together for three years. This couple is a perfect blend of no nonsense details and planning and Earth-friendly care. Putting aside their work roles, it comes down to the sleepy-eyed way with which this couple gazes at each other.
You know the one: Eyes partially closed, pupils fixed on the exact same location — their partner’s eyes. I’ve seen it in magazines with Elvis or Lisa Presley. But honey, this time my assistant Heather and I got to see it en vivo. Ash and Walt requested their engagement session at the Sunset Cove of Lake Lanier. This large expanse of vibrant green water was not the most breathtaking sight of the day. Those eyes, along with Ashley’s exquisite foot, back and neck postures made for a visual feast. Mmm hmmm; most impressive to me was the way that Walter looked at her. He is smitten, y’all.
Ashley and Walter are a special couple to follow. I am SO looking forward to shooting their Labor Day weekend wedding at The Ritz-Carlton in Atlanta. My very special friend, Aida Krgin, will be flying in to join me.
Did I mention that I LOVE those shoes?!?!
